Literature Text

A breeze whips past
Cold, crisp, chilling to the core
Moving up and around
Robbing the trees of
Their vibrant, brittle skin
Until, dead and bare,
They reach up to the sky
Their skeletal frames in a
Final, desperate grasp at life
I hastily wrote this on my way out the door at work one day. Eventually I typed it up and refined it the other night while I was siting in my room with my window open listing to the breeze move through the trees.

Hope you all like it!

Ohhhh wow. I have to admit the first couple of lines I thought were a bit cliché but the further I went in the more I began to appreciate it, and by the end I loved it. It's like you took the cliché and made it new again =D

Really nice piece. My favourite in your gallery so far =D

Hope you're well =D
